Live the experience of the Mountain of Colors (Vinicunca) with a hike surrounded by impressive Andean landscapes. After breakfast in Cusipata, you will start the ascent to the viewpoint to enjoy spectacular views and take pictures. You will then return to taste a typical lunch before returning to Cusco.
The agency’s minibus passes by your accommodation in Cusco while the city is still sleeping. It is ideal to sleep in the car during the first section.
You will travel for about two hours to the south of Cusco. You will stop in a village along the route (such as Cusipata or Tintinco) where the agency offers a basic buffet breakfast to gain energy.
The bus continues along an unpaved dirt road, up the mountain until it reaches Phulawasipata, the parking lot where the hike begins.
Start the uphill trek. The trail takes between 1 hour and a half to 2 hours depending on your pace. The path is flat at the beginning, but it becomes very steep in the last section. You will see streams, Andean landscapes and hundreds of alpacas.
You will arrive at the main viewpoint in front of the impressive mountain with turquoise, gold and red stripes. You will have time to take photos, rest and enjoy the beautiful view of the snow-capped Ausangate.
The descent is along the same route and takes about 1 hour. It is much easier and faster than the climb.
The bus starts and takes you back to the morning restaurant.
You will enjoy a hot lunch of Andean and Creole food to recover all the lost strength.
Final trip on the bus back to the city. The shuttle will drop you off in the center of Cusco (usually near Plaza Regocijo).

Finally, we limit the size of the group, ensuring a personalized service for each participant.
In case you get sick during the crossing, our team is fully prepared to handle the situation carefully and effectively.
